License and requirements
You cannot ride without the right documents. Please check before you book.
No license, no drive
- A valid passport (original)
- An International Driving Permit (IDP) under the 1949 Geneva Convention: the physical paper booklet (original)
- If you hold a license from Switzerland, Germany, France, Belgium, Monaco or Taiwan: your domestic license plus its official Japanese translation (e.g. JAF)
- A Japanese driver's license. U.S. Forces Japan personnel: SOFA license and military ID (originals)
- Phone images, copies, and licenses or permits bought online or in digital form are not accepted.
- Licenses that do not meet the requirements, such as 1968 Vienna Convention permits, cannot be used.
- Cancellations caused by missing or invalid documents are not refunded.
Important notes before you ride
This activity is driving an electric go-kart on public roads, so the following may happen:
- Traffic congestion
- Traffic accidents
- Vehicle trouble (breakdown, flat tire, etc.)
- Changes in weather (rain, etc.)
Please understand these are part of the activity. Because of traffic, you may not be able to return to the shop at the scheduled time.
As a general rule, we do not cancel for weather, including rain. The decision to go ahead is yours.
If any of these happen for any reason, fees already paid cannot be refunded. Please agree to this before you apply.
